Have you ever thought to paint with Cling Wrap? How about a toothbrush or rubbing alcohol?
Using various techniques and tools, you can create unique textures, patterns and expressive details with watercolor and a few common items you might find around your house. We will learn and use 6 different tools to paint with and create art with watercolor using salt, Saran Wrap, rubbing alcohol, a toothbrush and cotton balls.
This class is for the beginner, watercolor enthusiast, repeat attendee, and for the person who is seeking a new and relaxing creative outlet.
We'll have fun learning about and practicing each technique and watercolor effect and then you can choose which to incorporate in a final and full composition on 140lb cold pressed watercolor paper. I'll assist you along the way and we'll have extra supplies for practice. All supplies and instruction will be included AND a free drink from Island Lake Inn.
